Job summary

Smile Doctors in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Records Coordinator to join our growing orthodontic team. You will welcome new patients, obtain records, and help maintain an on-time patient workflow.

You will coordinate clinical records requests, support scheduling, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist in preparing equipment while cross-training to support multiple roles within the clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous dental clinical experience preferred.
• Bilingual a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes new patients and obtains orthodontic records.
• Responsible for maintaining an on time patient workflow.
• Provides direction on scheduling and next patient.
• G nurtures new patients and family with clinic layout information.
• Captures X-rays, photographs and scans.
• Relays patient information to treatment coordinators and doctors.
• Coordinates clinical records requests and manages treatment flow.
• Maintains compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations.
• May clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment.
• May cross train to support multiple roles within the clinic.
