Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an RN for the Ortho Trauma PCU Registry at Banner Del Webb Medical Center. The role requires night shift availability, progressive care unit experience, and the ability to self-schedule one shift per week.

Registration as an RN with BLS and ACLS is required, with orientation during the first week. The unit handles Ortho/Trauma and overflow patients, offering a team-based environment, evolving patient needs, and opportunities to work across service lines as needed within

Qualifications

• Must have an RN license in the practice state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at hire.
• Minimum 18 months RN work experience.
• Minimum 12 months recent PCU experience (within last 18 months).
• Orientation is a full-time, week-long commitment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized care.
• Formulate and update care plans with patient and team input.
• Implement care and coordinate with staff to meet physician orders.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
• Document care activities clearly in the patient record.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and staff education.
