Banner Health's Banner Boswell Ortho PCU in Sun City, AZ seeks a PRN RN to provide high‑quality nursing care on a 41‑bed unit serving orthopedic and GI post‑operative patients. You will assess, plan and document care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and help ensure safe, patient‑centered outcomes.

This unit emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement. Night shift options with differential and weekend differential are available; 18 months of RN experience on a Progressive Care

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.
• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and discharge planning.
• Formulates and revises the plan of care with input from patient/family and health team.
• Implements the plan of care and coordinates nursing activities.
• Evaluates patient progress and teaching effectiveness.
• Documents assessment, planning and care in the patient record.
