Job summary

Banner Del Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Orthopedic Progressive Care unit on the night shift. This 21-bed unit cares for post-operative joint patients and telemetry monitored medical-surgical cases, with a focus on safe, high-quality care.

As a nurse on this team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care, esp. orthopedic care, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and discharge needs.
• Formulate and update a care plan with goals for patients.
• Implement care, coordinate with the health care team, and supervise staff as needed.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care accordingly.
• Document assessments, plans, and responses in the medical record.
