Job summary

Banner Staffing Services is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift on the 6th floor Orthopedic unit at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Mesa, AZ.

This unit supports joint replacements, spine surgeries and general trauma with 21 beds and dedicated assignment on this unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for acute care patients, work with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Minimum 18 months of RN work experience; 12 months on a Progressive Care Unit in the last 18 months.
• Background check, drug screen and health assessment required.
• Orientation is a full-time, week-long commitment and attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care with patient/family input.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Document patient care and response to treatment in the medical record.
