Job summary

Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. (HOPCo) seeks an orthopedic scheduling specialist to manage surgical cases and related pre- and post-operative appointments. You will coordinate with physicians, patients, and interdepartmental teams to maintain timely scheduling.

Candidates should have 1 year medical office scheduling or 1–2 years admin/clinical experience, and familiarity with EMR systems. Strong organizational skills and clear communication are essential; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year medical office scheduling or 1-2 years administration/clinical experience (CNA/MA/EMT) preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR and insurance processes is preferable.
• Must communicate professionally with physicians, patients, and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Schedules surgeries within established timelines and creates all related pre- and post-operative appointments.
• Establishes interdepartmental communication to ensure timely and accurate scheduling.
• Maintains precise, organized records within the EMR and practice-management systems.
• Clearly communicates all clinical and surgical process instructions to patients.
• Ensures all systems and teams are updated with edited, cancelled, or rescheduled cases.
• Other duties as assigned.
