• Ensures pre-operative tests are scheduled and completed.
• Coordinates equipment, room availability and pre-surgery medication.
• Communicates surgery preparation instructions and arrival/departure details.
• Schedules follow-up appointments as directed by physicians.
• Greets patients and handles phone calls, documenting interactions in EMR.
