Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a part-time RN to work in the Surgical Oncology Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Mesa, AZ. The RN will provide nursing care, assessments, and care coordination for post-operative and high-acuity patients, with a focus on quality outcomes and patient safety.

Applicants should have 18 months of RN experience and 12 months in a Progressive Care Unit within the last 18 months. BLS and ACLS are required on hire, and orientation is part of the process.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred or required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care per policy.
• Formulate and revise care plans with patient/family input.
• Coordinate and supervise care with the health care team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Document care and maintain accurate patient records.
• Contribute to professional nursing practice and participate in education of staff.
