Job summary

Responsibilities

• Calls on accounts and covers daily routes with an efficient routing pattern.
• Delivers professional sales presentations to customers and demonstrates product placements.
• Maintains product levels by inventory and restocking where legal.
• Ensures brand visibility with POS materials where appropriate.
• Processes payments and collects remittance where permissible.
• Educates account staff by conducting staff training seminars on brands.
• Delivers products and handles customer issues, routing to management when needed.
• Plans strategies to achieve sales/merchandising objectives with pricing knowledge.
• Ensures national account compliance by completing surveys as required.
• Monitors buying patterns and maintains historical purchase data.
• Aims to meet distribution, volume and activity goals set by management.
• Manages account receivables with credits/returns and aging communications.
• Keeps informed of company/supplier activities via weekly sales meetings.
