Job summary

Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network is seeking an experienced donor coordinator to handle evaluation, authorization, and medical management of deceased donors. The role includes coordinating surgical recovery and distribution of organs for transplantation or research, and working 12-hour night shifts (7PM-7AM).

Qualifications include an associate degree in a healthcare field and critical care experience; bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in healthcare field with minimum 1 year in critical care (RN/RT preferred).
• Other candidates may be considered based on aligned job experience.
• Experience in critical care medicine delivery is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct donor evaluations to determine medical eligibility.
• Document clinical information clearly and concisely.
• Coordinate clinical management of deceased donors.
• Communicate with families to provide information and support.
• Coordinate surgical recovery and distribution of donor organs.
• Package and label organs for transplantation or research.
