Job summary

Gift of Hope is seeking an experienced professional to assist in the surgical recovery of organs from deceased donors and to coordinate organ handling for transplantation or research. You will work with a team to ensure sterile technique and precise documentation throughout perfusion and lab processes.

Responsibilities include coordinating with hospitals, recovering organs for transplantation or research, and supporting quality and training initiatives in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operating room with aseptic technique (1 year min).
• Certified Surgical Technologist or First Assist program preferred or equivalent experience.
• Other candidates may be considered at management's discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist recovering surgeon in surgical recovery of deceased donor organs for transplantation.
• Recover organs for research and coordinate donation processes.
• Document clinical information clearly and input perfusion data as required.
