The position requires a health care background (Allied Health or RN) and strong ethics, communication, and independent work capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in Allied Health or graduate RN providing patient care in an acute care setting.
• Other candidates may be considered based on aligned job experience.
• Ability to work with compassion and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Triage organ referrals and determine medical suitability.
• Create case plans for organ referrals and coordinate with staff.
• Educate staff on the donation process and respond to questions as needed.
• Coordinate onsite staff for donors and referral activity.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Communicate with families and obtain authorization for donation.
