Job summary

Tennessee Donor Services is seeking an Organ Recovery Coordinator with extensive RN experience in an ICU/critical care setting to facilitate organ donation in the Chattanooga area. You will work with clinical teams and surgeons to assess organ compatibility and coordinate rapid recovery and transfer.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in critical care, an active RN license, and a valid driver's license with travel ability. A comprehensive benefits package and structured call schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of experience in a critical care setting.
• RN license required for practice and hospital collaboration.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and providers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates donor suitability by reviewing medical records and staff consultations.
• Coordinates organ placement with transplant programs and surgeons.
• Assists in surgical recovery and peri-operative management, including logistics.
• Supports donor families and conducts history interviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
