Job summary

New England Donor Services is seeking an experienced ICU RN, Critical Care RN, Trauma Nurse or Critical Care Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Donation Coordinator. You will respond on-site to donor referrals, evaluate donors, manage donor care, and work with hospital and surgical teams to optimize organs for transplantation.

The role requires clinical expertise in critical care/trauma, compassionate patient-family interaction, and the ability to travel across New England.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years clinical/critical care experience; CPTC certification a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPTC certification a plus.
• Annual influenza vaccination is required for clinical roles.
• Ideal candidates live within an hour of Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Respond on-site to donor referrals to provide clinical expertise in donor evaluation.
• Manage donor patients and optimize organs for transplantation.
• Educate hospital staff on the donation process and obtain donor consent.
• Coordinate with multiple surgical teams and critical care staff.
