LifeCenter Northwest is seeking an Organ Donor Coordinator (ODC) to evaluate donor referrals, perform medical evaluations on potential donors, and work with healthcare teams to maintain donation options.

You will support in the operating room with organ perfusion, packaging, and labeling, while adhering to SOPs, CMS, UNOS, and AOPO standards. Strong family communication and regulatory documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced EMT/Paramedic/Respiratory Therapist certification or similar background/certifications and/or OPO experience.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and access to insured automobile for work-related travel.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof or exemption may be required as a condition of employment.

Responsabilités

• Respond to ventilated referrals.
• Assess organ donor suitability.
• Interact with families and obtain authorization/disclosure.
• Conduct Uniform Donor Risk Assessment Interview (UDRAI).
• Coordinate clinical and regulatory requirements and documentation.
• Contact ME/Coroner as needed.
• Collect blood and ancillary tests.
• Preserve and package recovered organs.
• Support DCD cases and collaborate interdepartmentally.
