LifeCenter Northwest is seeking a Clinical Communications Coordinator to screen, triage, and actively manage organ donor referrals. You will collect medical information, review EMRs, and update iTransplant to support donation decision-making.

You will maintain proactive communication with hospital teams and LifeCenter staff to optimize referral management. The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, adherence to SOPs, and a strong customer-service focus while handling sensitive donor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical healthcare environment or in referral triage/management.
• Experience in organ/tissue donation preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (Epic/Cerner/Medtech) preferred.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or applicable exemption required.
• Reside in LifeCenter's designated service area (Washington, Alaska, Northern Idaho, Montana) by date of hire.

Responsabilités

• Screen, triage, and manage donor referrals.
• Obtain complete medical information and review EMRs for donation eligibility.
• Update iTransplant with referral details and medical history.
• Communicate donor information to hospital teams and LifeCenter staff.
• Follow up with hospital partners daily to assess changes in referrals.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide exemplary customer service.
