Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow Truss sales in the Oregon State territory, building strong relationships with component manufacturers and promoting Building Technology software and hardware products.

You will collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Product Management, Marketing and other TSRs to develop sales strategies, lead trainings, and drive customer satisfaction while traveling up to 65% domestically. This exempt role is based in Oregon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of industry experience and/or training.
• Strong working knowledge of project workflow from architect/engineer to contractor.
• Sales and account management experience with track record of growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive demand and grow sales in defined marketplace, including on-site activities and demonstrations.
• Conduct software demonstrations to ensure customers utilize Building Technology software fully.
• Promote Simpson Strong-Tie in tradeshow and education settings across the territory.
• Maintain CRM, plan business activities, and manage expenses and vehicle upkeep.
