Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate on the Live Order Experience team to lead analysis and execution of programs that reduce missing and incorrect orders. You will dig into order-level data to size problems, design and run tests of merchant interventions, and translate findings into scalable solutions.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Order Quality within Merchant Strategy & Operations, you will collaborate with product, support, marketing, account management, finance, and analytics to land

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in strategy / business development / operations / technology / banking / consulting or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets; SQL is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast-moving environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter – bias towards action and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Naturally curious – always look for ways to innovate and improve.
• Gritty – willing to do whatever it takes to make things successful.
• Relationship-builder – can influence and motivate people at all levels across a variety of functions.

Responsibilities

• Strategize – Build the strategy for new product features and initiatives, including which merchant segments to target and how to drive engagement
• Analyze – Build models to evaluate value and opportunity costs of strategic initiatives and define success with KPIs
• Experiment – Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to execute tests on everything from adoption to optimization
• Influence – Work cross-functionally with our product, support, marketing, account management, finance, and analytics teams to land key initiatives
• Make stuff happen – Handle complexity in a detailed and structured way, with a bias to action
