Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Tyler, TX is seeking an entry-level to part-time/full-time Customer Service Representative to assist internal and external customers with order processing and documentation. The role focuses on fast, accurate order entry, price quotes, and reliable customer communication.

The CSR will support the Distribution team and interact via phone and email, with emphasis on accuracy and proactive follow-up. Training is provided in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or an associate's degree is preferred.
• 2-5 years of related experience is preferred.
• A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Must be able to organize, prioritize and carry out workload with minimal supervision.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high customer service levels through timely and accurate price quotes, status updates, order verifications, and other communications as needed.
• Pro-Actively retrieve, review and enter orders into the order system in a detailed and accurate manner.
• Explain and detail each order’s specifications and requirements, including pricing, shipping methods, required shipping labels and documentation.
• Understand and process government orders and routing.
• Notify supervisors of any product shortages.
• Generate shipping documents including non-standard Bills of Lading and government labels as required.
• Be cross trained as backup to processes and assist in other functions as needed.
