Aston Carter is hiring an Order Management Specialist for a fully onsite role in Cary, IL. The position supports customers, processes orders, and coordinates returns and credits within ERP systems.

The role requires 2+ years in order management or related fields, experience in a manufacturing setting, and strong Excel/Outlook skills. This is a Contract to Hire arrangement with standard hours, primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience in order management, customer service, administrative support, product support, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer inquiries related to orders, product quality concerns, returns, and service requests.
• Track customer cases from initiation through final resolution.
• Coordinate product returns, exchanges, and credit requests.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate information within ERP and internal systems.
• Review and process documentation related to customer requests and order activity.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve customer concerns.
• Monitor open cases and ensure timely communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Generate reports, maintain records, and provide administrative support as needed.
• Ensure all orders, documentation, and customer records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
