• Respond to customer service emails and phone inquiries regarding product availability and order status

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Milpitas, CA. This role is ideal for a professional with 1 to 2 years of order processing, customer service, sales operations, or administrative support experience who enjoys accuracy, communication, and working across teams.

The Order Management Specialist will support order entry, order fulfillment, customer communication, reporting, and issue resolution in a manufacturing operations environment. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where accuracy, responsiveness, and problem-solving directly support customer satisfaction and business success.

You will work closely with internal departments such as Sales Operations, Planning, and Customer Service while serving as a key point of contact for order-related updates and inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming customer purchase orders to confirm all required information is complete and accurate for order entry.
• Enter, update, and maintain sales orders, customer records, and part numbers according to internal procedures.
• Communicate order status, estimated shipment dates, and shipping details to internal teams and external customers.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve order issues and provide timely updates from an order management perspective.
• Respond to customer service emails and phone inquiries regarding product availability, order status, and shipment timing.
• Prepare reports and process customer OS&D claims while maintaining accurate tracking records.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $28 to $30 per hour.
• Location: Milpitas, CA 95035.
• Assignment type: Temp-to-hire, 6-month contract or longer.
• Background check required.
