Job summary

Waters is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to act as a liaison between the U.S. Commercial organization and internal cross-functional teams, delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the order lifecycle.

This role supports end-to-end order management and partners with Sales, Customer Care, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Logistics to ensure timely processing. Waters emphasizes on-site collaboration, requiring 4 days in the office for most roles, with flexibility noted.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of customer service experience, BA/BS degree preferred.
• Prior experience in a biotechnology or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end order lifecycle, including order receipt, entry, fulfillment coordination, invoicing, and post-sales support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for order-related inquiries, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues, manage exceptions, and ensure timely order execution.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, increased efficiency, enhanced accuracy, and improved customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records within enterprise systems and ensure data integrity across business processes.
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed to support business operations and customer requirements.
