Job summary

Georg Fischer Ltd. in Irvine, CA is seeking an Order Management Specialist to process customer orders accurately, manage order administration in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment.

You will handle order entry, backorder monitoring, returns, and complaints, maintaining clear communication with customers and suppliers while using Microsoft Office applications to generate reports and track delivery dates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education certificate in applicable functional area preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in order management customer service or administrative support preferably in operations or manufacturing.
• Decent SCM/back-office experience preferably in a technical industry.
• Knowledge of ERP system (SAP) and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all order administration activities (entry and logistics) for both EDI and non-EDI orders.
• Check open orders, item availability, and delivery times; send delivery confirmations to customers.
• Advise customers/suppliers/transport companies about orders, shortages, delivery dates, price changes and deviations.
• Monitor backorder releases, set delivery dates, and release orders in SAP.
• Handle complaints and returns; prepare related reports and communicate with customers.
