Job summary

Heartland Food Products Group, a global leader in the CPG industry, seeks a Customer Service Representative to manage daily order entry through multiple portals, ensure data accuracy, and support fulfillment operations. You will collaborate with sales, procurement, warehouse, finance, and manufacturing to deliver timely service.

The role emphasizes customer relationship-building, issue resolution, and demand forecasting support using ERP/WMS tools, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and understanding of customer products and account management practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database applications.
• Experience with Access, SYSPRO, TMS, ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Some WMS systems knowledge preferred.
• Data entry, problem-solving, analysis, logistics and operational support experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily order entry, maintenance and reporting through various portals.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure timely and professional service.
• Maintain customer accounts, item setup, and support demand forecasting.
• Communicate with customers via email to address inquiries and coverage options.
• Consult with customers to assess needs and recommend service and fulfillment options.
• Utilize Retail Link (Walmart) to analyze orders and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with warehouse and manufacturing to ensure order compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor fulfillment and manufacturing metrics related to customer orders.
• Proactively resolve customer issues with empathy to improve satisfaction.
• Cross-train and provide support for other Customer Service Representatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet/exceed customer expectations.
