Job summary

Bright Path is seeking an Order Entry Clerk to accurately capture customer orders in our ERP, update inventory records, and ensure timely processing. This entry-level role supports sales and fulfillment while delivering high-quality customer service.

You will enter orders with accuracy, verify stock levels, communicate status to customers, and generate invoices and shipping documents. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is expected, with strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
0-1 year of data entry or order processing experience.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Customer-service oriented with professional inquiry handling.

Responsibilities

Enter customer orders into the ERP system with accuracy.
Verify product availability and confirm stock levels with inventory control.
Communicate order status and discrepancies to customers timely.
Generate and distribute order acknowledgments, invoices, and shipping documents.
Maintain up-to-date order logs and reports in Excel.
Assist with resolving order-related issues such as backorders or pricing.
Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to fulfill orders.
