Job summary

Pratt Industries – Houston seeks a Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for customers, handling orders, inquiries, and complaints to ensure satisfaction. You will coordinate with internal departments, maintain records, and support sales efforts.

Responsibilities include processing orders, billing, and communicating with customers; you’ll also assist in generating supplemental sales and monitor inventory to meet customer needs. Strong accuracy and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience with computer data-entry is preferred.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders directly from customers or sales representatives.
• Place orders promptly for materials and supplies for production.
• Process billing accurately and efficiently.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, coordinating with internal teams.
• Process new items and new purchase orders.
• Coordinate accounting credits as needed.
• Record and distribute customer order changes.
• Fax order confirmations to customers.
• Assist sales personnel and identify supplemental sales opportunities.
• Track warehouse items and monitor stock levels per customer.
• Analyze monthly usages and re-stock needs per customer.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
