Job summary

Walman Optical Toledo is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) to manage quotations, orders, and returns, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and labs. You will coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure exceptional service and accurate order processing.

The role requires at least 1 year of customer service experience, solid communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in customer service, hospitality, or call center.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and composure with difficult customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic PC skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Handle price quotations, orders, changes, and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Build rapport with customers to deliver the best possible service.
• Receive, sort, package, and return overstock/defective lenses and accessories per policy.
• Assist in assembling and labeling frames for monthly auto-kit mailings and manage lists for auto-ship programs.
• Use PCs to retrieve and update customer and stock information; ensure correct data entry.
