Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring a Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) to manage quotes, orders, returns, and purchase orders while building strong customer and vendor relationships. You will coordinate with multiple departments to provide excellent service, process stock and order data in our system, and support timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year in customer service, hospitality or call center environment.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to handle difficult customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office; Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive quotes, orders, changes, adjustments, and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Build rapport with customers to deliver the best possible service.
• Process returns of lenses, frames, and accessories per vendor policies.
• Assist in assembling, packaging, and mailing monthly auto-kit shipments.
• Use a PC to retrieve customer information, stock status, and order data; update records.
• Coordinate with vendors for order status and delivery information.
• Troubleshoot issues with coworkers or customers.
• Communicate company policies, promotions, and negotiate professionally.
• Maintain a neat, organized workstation and support other team members.
• Attend internal trainings and provide guidance when needed.
