Chief of Staff KC is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support customers in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. You will handle orders, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with sales, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth processing.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, timely communication, and customer-focused service in a fast-paced manufacturing/distribution environment.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service, order management, inside sales, or administrative roles preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, construction, or product-based environments is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication with a professional, customer-focused approach.
Excellent attention to detail and accurate handling of orders and customer data.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Collaborative work with customers and cross-functional internal teams.
Familiarity with internal systems and industry terminology.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary point of contact for customers via phone and email.
Process customer orders including entry, pricing, availability, and updates.
Respond to questions about products, orders, lead times, deliveries, and account needs.
Coordinate with sales, operations, production, warehouse and shipping teams to handle orders efficiently.
Monitor orders from entry to delivery and communicate updates to customers.
Assist with expediting orders, coordinating deliveries, processing returns, and resolving concerns.
Maintain accurate customer and order information in internal systems and CRM/ERP.
