Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures while ensuring patient comfort
  • Set up and break down operatory post-treatment
  • Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Provide patients with follow-up instructions post-treatment
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Qualifications

  • DANB CDA Certification Required
  • Radiology certification
  • Nitrous Certified Required
  • Allied Sedation Certification preferred

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a clinical environment with potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens. Requires prolonged standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours daily. Must be able to lift 15 pounds and handle tools and equipment.
