The Oracle DBA Lead will own end-to-end migration of Oracle databases from on-premises to AWS, focusing on rehosting to Oracle Database on EC2, with emphasis on availability, security, and post-migration stabilization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience including migration responsibilities.
• Experience migrating Oracle databases from on-prem to AWS; strong rehost experience preferred.
• Knowledge of RMAN, Data Pump, GoldenGate, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end migration of Oracle databases from on-premises to AWS (rehost to EC2).
• Define migration approach, prerequisites, cutover, and rollback plans.
• Build and configure Oracle DB environments on AWS EC2 with tuning and security.
• Perform data/schema migration and post-cutover stabilization.
• Provide handover documentation and support during hypercare.
