Job summary

BlueStar is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support the CDW sales team by accurately processing orders and maintaining data integrity. Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems and strong Excel skills are required.

The role emphasizes teamwork and timely communication in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include interpreting orders, entering data, verifying accuracy, and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in data entry, order processing, or a similar administrative role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer orders, shipping documents, and other forms.
• Input data into designated fields using Oracle software, also Microsoft Excel or ERP systems.
• Verify accuracy of data before and after entry and check margin report.
• Maintain consistency across databases.
• Report discrepancies or errors to supervisors.
• Perform routine administrative tasks such as reporting back to our customers, buyers, and sales reps for any pricing issues or part number changes.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
