Job summary

c3controls is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Entry Specialist I to join our team. This entry-level role is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, ensuring data integrity, and providing exceptional support to internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities include entering orders into the ERP system, verifying pricing and delivery details, coordinating with sales and billing, tracking orders, maintaining records, and supporting data updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience in data entry, order processing, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer orders into the ERP or order management system.
• Review and verify order information for completeness and accuracy (pricing, product codes, delivery details).
• Communicate with sales teams, customer service, and other internal departments to resolve order discrepancies or obtain missing information.
• Track orders and ensure timely processing and fulfillment in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain digital and physical records of orders and customer interactions.
• Support billing and invoicing processes by ensuring correct and timely data entry.
• Assist in updating and maintaining product or customer databases as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly to internal and external order-related queries.
• Perform other administrative and support tasks as required by the supervisor or manager.
