Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Austin, TX is seeking a Business Analyst for Oracle CPQ to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams. You will gather requirements, analyze complex product needs, and translate them into robust configuration rules within Oracle CPQ.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain to define scope and craft detailed specifications. Prior experience with ERP/CPQ is preferred, along with SQL/PL-SQL or scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1-3 years of strong experience in a Business Analyst role gathering requirements, defining scope, and creating functional specifications for Oracle CPQ.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Applications such as Oracle EBS, Oracle PLM, or Oracle CPQ Admin features is preferred.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and become an operational subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define product scope and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for Oracle CPQ.
• Ensure product configurations in Oracle CPQ are accurate and adhere to established standards.
• Drive SKU reduction, BOM simplification, and offer/catalog simplification activities.
• Collaborate with developers to clarify business requirements and perform validation/testing post-development.
• Work with factory and supply chain teams to verify configuration rules and ensure smooth Sales Order processing.
• Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts to verify BOMs and configuration rule changes.
• Operate within an Agile team to gather and analyze requirements for ERP/CRM implementations.
