Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and current basic life support certification.
• Certified as a surgical technologist OR two to three years of experience in a surgical technologist role.
• Must scrub proficiently on a minimum of two surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgical procedures by pulling instruments and supplies and ensuring instrument readiness.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and proper disposal of sharps and waste.
• Assist with OR turnover and stocking of supplies; clean operating rooms.
