Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare for procedures by pulling instruments and supplies; ensure instruments are in good working order.
• Anticipate surgeon needs; pass instruments and retract tissue.
• Maintain aseptic technique and universal precautions; dispose of sharps and trash.
• Assist with OR turnover, stocking supplies, and cleaning rooms.
• Participate in training and orientation of staff and students.
