Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams in a safe, sterile environment. You will assist with preparation, instrumentation, and patient care under surgeons and nurses, with emphasis on aseptic technique and patient safety.

The role requires enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technologist program and current BLS certification, with 0–2 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in and actively completing an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Zero (0) to two (2) years of clinical experience in a healthcare-related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain the sterile field throughout the surgical case.
• Assist with positioning patients safely on the procedure table.
• Assist with tissue retraction, sutures, and counts under physician supervision.
• Assist with sterilization processes and instrument decontamination.
• Support the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
