Job summary

Non is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams in a fast-paced operating room. The candidate will prepare sterile fields, assist with instrument passing, and help maintain a safe, compliant surgical environment.

The role requires CST certification, BLS, and strong communication skills; prior outpatient OR experience is preferred. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered, with travel limited to local facilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bringing patients to pre op recovery and transporting for discharge.
• Maintain sterile field and operate autoclave and related equipment.
• Ensure patient verification and two identifiers are used during time-out procedures.
• Prepare sterile instruments and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons with instrument passing and PPE.
• Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.
• Mentor and train new staff in aseptic technique and room setup.
