Job summary

Cardinal Health in Dallas is seeking a Sales Representative for OR Products to drive revenue in the acute care hospital market. You will use consultative selling, product knowledge, and clinical insights to expand in existing accounts and win new business across the OR product portfolio.

You will report to the Region Sales Director, Specialty Products and partner with account executives, clinicians, and supply chain teams to meet ambitious sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Two years of outside sales success in a competitive environment.
• Hospital or clinical setting experience preferred.
• Ability to understand complex contracting and build a solid business case.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales strategies to hit goals across product categories in the territory.
• Build consultative relationships with clinicians, supply chain partners, end users, and GPOs.
• Collaborate with account executives to drive revenue and meet targets.
• Develop product mastery and present proposals, negotiate pricing.
• Complete product conversions and in-servicing, including occasional night shifts.
• Assist customers with backorders and service issues with customer service.
• Maintain activity in sales tools and manage territory plans.
• Educate buyers and promote Cardinal's products at meetings and trade shows.
