Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative for OR Products in the Houston area. You will drive revenue by promoting the Presource procedural packs and related OR supplies, using solution-based sales and clinical insights to support acute care hospitals.

Reporting to the Region Sales Director, Specialty Products, you will build consultative relationships with clinicians and supply chain partners, meet sales goals, and travel domestically as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of outside sales success in a competitive, sophisticated environment.
• Experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred.
• Ability to understand complex contracting and build a sound financial business case.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategies to achieve sales goals across assigned product categories within Houston.
• Build consultative relationships with clinicians, supply chain partners, end users and GPO partners.
• Collaborate with regionally aligned account executives to drive incremental revenue and achieve target sales goals.
• Identify, qualify, prepare, and execute effective sales strategies that maintain the existing base of business and support the close of competitive opportunities.
• Develop mastery of all products and sales applications.
• Present proposals, negotiating pricing and effectively differentiating product offerings.
• Complete conversions and in-servicing, demonstrating product applications, functionality and use.
