Job summary

Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is seeking an OR/Materials Management Technician to manage supplies for the operating rooms and related procedures. The role ensures adequate stock levels, supports charge setup, and collaborates with the Materials Manager and OR Manager to optimize pricing and inventory controls.

Responsibilities include processing requisitions, maintaining a clean stock room, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely handling of charges.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in materials management or OR supply is preferred.
• Ability to manage stock levels and coordinate with vendors and surgical teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory in the OR including consignment and non-consignment items.
• Process non-stock requisitions and purchase orders.
• Order stock and non-stock items and maintain stockroom organization.
• Coordinate with Materials Manager and OR Manager on pricing and consignment items.
• Ensure patient and procedure charges and pass-through codes are set up correctly.
• Support group purchasing and shared services efforts with other facilities.
