Job summary

Stryker is seeking an OR-support technician to assist during surgical procedures, as well as preoperative and postoperative equipment management. The role requires hands-on knowledge of surgical devices and the ability to collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, updating product information with the team, recording accurate data metrics monthly, and providing coverage across shifts, including on-call

Qualifications

• Operating room experience preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and surgical procedures is expected.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment.
• Anticipates related device needs of OR staff and surgeon during procedures.
• Troubleshoots and maintains Stryker equipment and related devices.
• Collaborates with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomedical and other related staff.
• Maintains knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education programs.
• Provides physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current products.
• Records and reports data metrics related to job functions monthly.
• Maintains up-to-date account information to ensure high levels of service and credentialing.
• Records and reports all surgical procedure information accurately.
