Job summary

Stryker Group in Salem, OR is seeking an OR-support specialist to assist during surgical procedures, preoperative and postoperative equipment management.

You will manage equipment, troubleshoot devices, and coordinate with OR staff, surgeons, central processing, and biomedical teams. The role requires OR experience, strong communication, and ability to work across shifts, including on-call, overnight, and weekends with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Operating Room experience and knowledge of anatomy and procedures.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office; strong communication.
• Ability to troubleshoot in high-stress environments.
• Willingness to provide coverage across shifts and regions.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment.
• Anticipates device needs of OR staff and surgeon during procedures.
• Troubleshoots and maintains Stryker equipment and related devices.
• Works with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomedical staff.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment and disposable products via training.
• Provides information on products to physicians and OR staff.
• Records and reports data metrics for job functions monthly.
• Maintains account information and vendor credentialing for high service levels.
• Records and reports surgical procedure information accurately.
• Adheres to Stryker policies and facility procedures.
• Analyzes and resolves routine and non-routine product issues promptly.
• Maintains professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude.
• Complies with HIPAA and patient confidentiality policies.
• Provides support/coverage on all shifts at assigned accounts and others; may include on-call, overnight, weekends; travel may be required.
• Assigned shifts may change without notice; rotating shifts may occur.
