Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking an onsite specialist to support surgical procedures by managing a broad range of equipment and devices, ensuring availability and proper functioning throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages.

The role requires OR experience, strong communication, and the ability to troubleshoot in demanding environments. Travel may be required, and adherence to HIPAA and facility policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Operating room experience with knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures and techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication; interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment.
• Anticipates device needs of OR staff and surgeon during procedures.
• Troubleshoots and maintains Stryker equipment and related devices.
• Works with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomeds and related staff.
• Maintains knowledge base of equipment and disposables through Stryker training.
• Provides physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current products.
• Records and reports data metrics accurately on a monthly basis.
