LensCrafters in Chicago is seeking a full-time team member to support the Doctor of Optometry, ensure top-quality patient care, and drive store performance. You will link the OD and retail functions, manage patient flow, and help deliver our EyeCare experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and customer service, with a focus on daily tasks, paperwork, and building relationships. Relevant experience is valued and benefits include health care, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Patient service; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve OD NPS, patient retention, exam and contact lens growth.
• Promote annual eye exams and TAB performance.
• Attract new patients to the practice.
• Manage patient flow with Pre-test and OD labor model.
• Greet patients warmly on entry.
• Answer phones in friendly, courteous manner.
• Explain paperwork, tests, insurance benefits, and timelines.
• Maintain patient charts and data in TAB/POS.
• Train new doctor’s office associates.
• Ensure stock of contact lenses and supplies are current.
• Coach staff on patient experience and store promotions.
