Acuity Eyecare group is seeking an optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams and educate patients to maximize eye health and comfort. The role emphasizes patient relationships, accurate testing, and thorough documentation.

You will diagnose refractive errors and ocular diseases, prescribe lenses, contacts, and medications, and support practice growth through patient education and high-quality care. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Ability to educate patients and promote eye care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and assess ocular health.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education.
• Take verbal patient histories and determine health and ocular needs.
• Advise patients on options for refractive correction and ocular care.
• Enhance patient loyalty and promote Acuity Eyecare Group values.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Diagnose sight problems and ocular diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contacts, and medications.
• Provide postoperative care after eye surgery when applicable.
• Counsel on eye health and contact lens care.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to staff for precise fulfillment.
