Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking an optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams and manage patient ocular health. You will build long-term relationships through patient education and personalized care, addressing visual needs and preferences during visits.

You will conduct health interviews, discuss options for refractive corrections, and provide pre/postoperative care as needed, collaborating with staff to ensure optimal lens selections and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and assess ocular health.
• Establish long-term patient relationships with education.
• Take patient health histories and address visual needs.
• Explain treatment options for refractive errors and ocular disease.
• Promote eye health and proper contact lens care.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery follow-ups.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to staff for best lens options.
• Support practice growth through patient education and loyalty.
