Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams.
• Establish long term patient relationships through proper care and education.
• Interview patient to determine ocular history and visual needs.
• Explain options for remediation of ametropias and ocular disease.
• Promote eye health and educate patients on eye care and lens options.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery follow-ups.
