Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a licensed optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye exams and assess ocular health in a patient-focused setting. You will build long-term relationships through education and personalized eyecare plans, prescribing glasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.

You will perform vision tests, diagnose refractive issues and eye diseases, and provide pre/postoperative care when needed, while promoting eye health and guiding patients toward the best options

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution and valid state licensure.
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and assess ocular health.
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses and medications as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and visual function tests.
• Diagnose and manage refractive errors and ocular disease.
• Educate patients on eyecare and treatment options.
• Prescribe eyewear and contact lenses and coordinate care with staff.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care when needed.
• Promote eye health and build patient loyalty.
