Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by handling preliminary testing and patient prep. Training and tools are provided, even if you have no optical experience. Some weekend and evening shifts are required as you assist in delivering a best-in-class vision care experience.

You will work under the Office General Manager and help ensure a smooth patient flow while collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Qualifications

• Personable and patient with the ability to comfort patients during screening.
• Detail oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about industry, products, and services.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions, and chart medical history to prep for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures prior to visits.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Provide contact lens training for applicable patients and conduct preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
